Do what you Love, they say...

They say, do what you love and you will never work a day in your life. I have been fortunate to find that to be true in my later years of life. But there is also some truth in working hard and learning to love and appreciate what you've been given. I have been very blessed to have experienced both sides of this. I worked for 35 years as a mortgage loan officer for a bank that treated it's employees very well and although it was not the job I dreamed of having, it served myself and my family very well for many years. My dream was always to be a photographer from a very young age. At times during my life, I felt as though I just went through life and did what ever came along, but looking back, I believe with my whole heart that it was God's plan for me all along. And now that I am living my dream, I realize that I would probably not have appreciated it as much had I started out as a photographer, nor would I have had the knowledge of running a business without that experience.

So, I say, find a way to do what you love, whatever your passion, but don't ever regret, doing the best you can with what

God gives you. It is what makes us who we are.
